Copyright law regarding commercial photography is very clear. In short,
copyright to every image belongs to the photographer or studio. The fact
that a client has paid the photographer for his or her services does not give
the client "ownership" of the image. It is only the use of the image that the
client is buying.

However, I am a little more flexible than the national standard in terms of
copyright. I price a job based on limited use‹the use being limited to the
projects being targeted for the photography. Additional use by the same
client needs to be negotiated with me. Use of an image by any other entity
than the original client needs to be handled through the studio. It will be
billed separately.
